> To access any new macros in TeXShop you have to get TeXShop to regenerate your ~/Library/TeXShop/Macros folder.
> So you need to first save any of your own personal macros to a file. You can do this by opening the macro editor, and selecting any macros that you have added or modified yourself, and then choosing "Save Selection to File" from the Macros menu.
> Once you've done that, close TeXShop and move your ~/Library/TeXShop/Macros folder to the trash, and restart TeXShop. Now the new macros will become available (including the Paste Spreadsheet Cells macro).
> Once you've done that, you can then open the macro editor again and choose "Add Macros from File" to add back the macros you saved in step 1.
So I was missing something simple! Thanks to Alan and Dick for this suggestion -- worked perfectly.
