In the Finder, translated in French, it is the "Aller" menu, the  
"Aller au dossier" option, and then you enter you path, and you're  
done. In English, it must be something like the "Go to" menu, and the  
"Go to folder…" option.

After that, you can drag the folder to your favorites, at the left of  
a Finder's window.
