Howdy,
Here's the TeXshop 2.36 Window Menu under OS X 10.6.4 (Snow Leopard) with number files. I tried with the same build under OS X 10.5.8 PPC and it's alphabetic.
Does that mean there is a conspiracy to get you to buy and Intel system so you can run Snow Leopard?
