Howdy,

When you print the output of the preview window in TeXShop you are printing the pdf using Apple's frameworks. So if you print the pdf by opening it in Preview you'll get the identical results. If you open the file in Adobe Reader or Acrobat and print it it might display slightly different and also print slightly different. The biggest difference I've seen is that the Adobe software sometimes scales by default and then people complain that the dimensions of the printed output are wrong. You've got to go into the preferences and turn that off.
