[OS X TeX] Drawing diagrams: what's better?

Hi, everyone.  I hope this isn't a FAQ: Is it better to draw diagrams  
using something like PSTricks or Tikz, or something like xfig or  
Inkscape?  What are the pros and cons?  TIA.
