[OS X TeX] auto-greek in TeX

I just noticed this. It should be /usr/local/texlive/texmf-local/tex/latex/auto-greek (note the .../tex/... before the .../latex/... . I assume that was a typo.

Finally found references to the auto-greek package and downloaded it. It appears that the auto-greek the sty file is in what TeXShop calls IsoLatinGreek (Greek (ISO 8859-7)) for its encoding line so be careful there.

Have you thought about using XeLaTeX which, with the polyglossia package, should allow you enter greek (with proper hyphenation, etc.) directly (no need for the auto-greek package) too? That will use UTF-8 encoding.
