[OS X TeX] TeXMaker stole my file associations

Hi, I was taking a look at TeXMaker, just out of curiosity, (not impressed) and now it's decided that it should open all my TeX-related files, which is very annoying. Since there are a lot of tex-related file extensions, I'm wondering if there's a command-line or stand-alone utility way to change a whole bunch of extensions at once, rather than having to find one of each type and manually go through the "Get Info" + "Change for all" route.
Any suggestions?
Also, is there any way to stop an application from stealing file associations like this?
Alan
