I like the idea of putting your work on CTAN, even if it is in addition to other locations you maintain.

Actually, TeXShop IS on CTAN, although

	a) I suspect most people get it in another way

and

	b) I haven't been good about keeping it up to date, so 2.43 isn't there. 

When TeXLive-2011 and Lion, come out and all the rapid changes stabilize, it
is my intention to update the CTAN copy.
