Flashmode has been completely rewritten such that there are no applets anymore. Instead Flashmode itself does all the work. Its default behaviour is to run in the background like a shell script, though there is an option to let it run the foreground, and it has to be started by an Applescript (macro). It will automatically quit when the document it controls will be closed and it can also be quit by an Applescript (macro).

Flashmode can control arbitrarily many documents, each time a new copy (clone) will be created.

The old Flashmode application is now called Flashmode-Scripts and can also be used to start and quit the new Flashmode.

Flashmode requires OS 10.6, which also guarantees that the computers are sufficiently fast.

Please, read the ReadMe file before using it.

Let me know if you like it or not.
