[OS X TeX] Snow Leopard's word substitution in TexShop's Editor

Howdy,

With the document where you want it active open Click on Edit->Substitutions->Text Replacement enables that feature. Unfortunately it's is not ``sticky''; the next time you open a document, even the same document at a later time, that setting will not be remembered.
