I assumed it was /usr/local/texlive/texmf-local that I wanted, as
detailed at the pctex site. The reason I asked was because I've seen
posts, including one in response to my question, saying to use instead
The latter is where I had initially installed the mathtime2 pro and
lucida font files, which is undoubtedly why I got complaints about some
of the .map files not being found each time I ran the TeXLive 2011
Utility to update.
