[OS X TeX] problems with lucida and updmap

hi list,

I'm on 10.5., upgraded from mactex 2010 to mactex 2011 some time ago;  
since after the upgrade, I cannot use the lucida font anymore because
updmap does not work as expected; even though an existing map-file is  
specified using an absolute path, it seems not to be found, see:
