If I have a version of the file in the editor and perform an svn update in the terminal, the file changes on disk. However, if I save or typeset, the local version in the editor gets saved and I get no conflict warnings! (However, if I change the file through another application such as Textmate, I get a conflict warning). Is this a bug. or?

If anyone out there has a good understanding of what is going on under Lion please write up something so I and others can understand how to deal with all of this new stuff.

It's gets spookier and spookier... I had this problem, reverted back to a corrected version, closed the file, opened it again, typeset in and went for coffee. When coming back to my machine, the version in TeXShop was changed to the old, erroneous version. Wow, an auto-error function!
However, after reverting to a correct version again, I have tried and tried to recreate the problem, without "success"... What I *think* I did before is the following:
(i) I worked on a version of the file
(ii) I did an svn update, which changed the file on disk, but not in TeXShop
(iii) I continued editing the file.
(iv) I saved the file and succeeded to overwrite the svn-updated file with a file not containing the svn updates.
Now, I don't seem to be able to do (iv) without TeXShop warning me for a conflict (which is be the correct behavior). This is really strange. I will keep my eyes open and let you know if I run into this again.
