[OS X TeX] A rather silly TeXShop question

The details of the GUI interface for TeXShop 3.06 seem to vary between my (home laptop) MacBook Pro and my
new (office) iMac: some buttons seem to appear in different places, etc. This is not a problem. But the other is a bit more annoying: when I want to open a file from within TeXShop, the "favorites" panel on my new iMac does not include dropbox, where much of my source code resides. I have looked at various preferences, but can't see how to include it. There is a workaround: Applications->Dropbox->file, but it would be nicer to be able to call up Dropbox directly from the panel. Any suggestions?
