I saw this after writing my previous email. Michael hit it on the nose. Once I toggled, it works. Thanks to both of you!

Does anyone have a suggestion how to do it?

It's Key Bindings. Go to Sauce --> Key Bindings --> Toggle On/Off.

The other option is that key bindings is still on, but the file got edited somehow. Go to Sauce --> Key Bindings --> Edit Bindings File… and look for one with input ^ and output ^{#SEL##INS#}. If it's not there, you'll need to add it yourself.
