[OS X TeX] TeXLive 2012 cannot find local fonts

The TeX Distribution Preference Pane sets /usr/texbin so it ends up pointing to the binaries of the active distribution. You are overriding that setting in your .profile!

You may have run into a bug in updmap! I've written to the texlive list asking about it.

Please try running the following in Terminal:

updmap --enable Map=lucidabr.map

and

updmap --enable Map=mtpro2.map

(notice no sudo's) and let us see the output. Basically this should manually force `updmap' to create the proper map files.
