[OS X TeX] MacTeX/TeXLive 2012 near-"sightings"

Hi, Dick.

Dumb question probably. I haven't upgraded Snow Leopard to Lion and am trying to hold off as long as possible. 

Can I just grab the TeXLive 2012 when it becomes officially available, or should I stay with the current version?
