Thanks, Victor. I agree that it is a pdfkit framework problem and not likely to be fixed. A possible work-around is to not scroll using the mouse (or trackpad) but instead to use fn and the up(down) arrows, which scroll up or down about a page. Doing this seems to prevent the distortions. Warren N
