Zbigniew, This "lock after 14 days" feature is no longer in Mountain Lion. So I recommend that you upgrade to Mountain Lion. Web reports suggest that the feature can be turned off in Lion using the Time Machine control panel module. I didn't check that before sending this email, but it is worth a look. Dick Koch
