[OS X TeX] Re: MacOSX-TeX Digest, Vol 63, Issue 11 hidden files

Thanks Pete and Herb,

          I have latest 2012, which is fine. Waiting for Apple to clean up my hard disk after replacement. 
Find some of my files on back-up, largely my latex documents and lucida fonts, are refusing me permission 
to read, so Apple needs to sort out permissions. Got  messed up when they created another user  as an 
intermediary which allowed most files to be recovered.

          How do I find all the TeXShop .sty, .cls, .bst etc files. They are all installed since latex works fine. The
 terminal advice for unhiding allowed me to see my Library and create a texmf tree, but I cannot see basic files
in TeXShop directory in my Library, nor TeX in Finder or Finder  Library. I need a TeXShop "map" if it exists
for the public. Just interested; does not stop me using TeXShop.
