[OS X TeX] Do we really need two mailing lists for TeX on Mac?

The list mactex at tug.org<mailto:mactex at tug.org>, which I'm not a member of, I believe is for the Mac-tex working group. It is not publicly listed on http://tug.org/mailman/listinfo
This list macosx-tex at esm.psu.edu<mailto:macosx-tex at esm.psu.edu> is for general TeX on Mac OS X discussions.
While I have wondered in the past why TUG doesn't host our list, I've just spent part of this week moving this list to newer and hopefully more stable hardware. I hope this wasn't done in vain.

Just realized that there are two mailing lists (and I subscribed to both) dedicated to tex on mac. There could be a subtle difference in the scope but I am afraid it is too subtle for majority of people (myself included) to notice
