[OS X TeX] Updated latexmk engines (if you want them)

Howdy,

There is no update to the latexmk program but all of the latexmk engines for TeXShop have been updated to all for project level control of the engines by creating a latexmk configuration file, call platexmkrc (p for project), in the same directory as the root file for the project.

On example for using this feature is if you wish to use the pdflatexmk engine but wish to use texindy to do index processing rather than latexmk's default of makeindex for that particular project. To do that you would create a platexmkrc file that contains something like

$makeindex = "texindy %O -o %D %S";

(this is Perl notation) and can even use any special options you wish to pass to texindy. If the platexmkrc doesn't exist in the directory of the file being typeset the engines behave just as they did before.

WARNING: That file will be read in by any file typeset in that directory so you should isolate a project in its own directory structure.

To get the new engines with installation instructions, etc., download Latexmk435TeXShop2.zip from <https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/10932738/index.html>.

Good Luck,
