Correct, the name string doesn't matter as such. However, older importers ignore the edu.uoregon UTI because they don't recognize it as anything they can handle, so in this case the UTI affects whether an old or new importer will work. There are other issues with the way it declared types, but that gets pretty far into the weeds…
