Hmmm... after looking at the ``documentation'' about the only really informative part was mentioned before; stix.sty uses T1 font encoding by default. Looking at stix.sty directly the options: notext, nomath, not1, notextcomp, lcgreekalpha and upint. I can guess what most of these mean but haven't checked in stix.sty yet.
