I used to use paper to jot down my calculations and then transcribed to LaTeX documents -- a two-step process (the first step requires some concentration so I do not want to get interrupted by the extra compiling process). Now with the computer faster enough, I was hoping a real-time preview could help simplify the process.

Howdy,
I see that TeXPad seems to have real-time preview (i.e., on-the-fly typesetting) but it isn't clear that TeXnicle and/or LaTeXian have that feature?
Good Luck,
