spreadtab is an awesome package I just discovered as I was looking for
something to use to make a calendar for my students to know when each
chapter will be dealt with, etc, one that I wouldn't have to redo
every year---with new mistakes. This way, I hope I should only have to
enter the first day of class.
(In fact, I use of course two, one for Fall and one for Spring but
they could be merged with an if then else---one can always dream.)
What makes me think I might make it is that the documentation seems
just about perfect. (Ah! the French! What teachers!)
Here is Will Robertson, who long ago was on this list---and made me
then a macro I am still using a lot---but has gone on to higher LaTeX
planes, on spreadtab on StackExchange:
"I haven't seen this package before. Not only is it neat, but the
tricks it must pull to allow such a nice input syntax would be very
interesting to study. – Will Robertson Oct 7 '10 at 11:27"
