The font on the left may be Monaco, but it is being rendered poorly. You might also check out Source Code Pro at:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/sourcecodepro.adobe/

It is free and there is a LaTeX package that enables its use with LaTeX. I use it in Mail, TeXShop, and BBEdit as my default font.
