as usual (as it is the default) you were right. I followed
your suggestion and, as already written in another mail
everything works well.

My thanks also to Richard Koch for his install package of
Ghostscript together with his work on TeXShop which helped
me greatly when I learned LaTeX. (I hope he will read this.)
