So far everything seems fine! Sigh...
How about
ls -alF /usr/texlive/2014
just to see that the distribution is actually there. Did you try to run TeX Live Utility after thee move? If so there is a small possibility that you may have to re-install MacTeX. Start up TeX Live Utility (TLU) and make sure you update it (TeX Live Utility->Check For Updates…) to TLU 1.19. Then run that to pick up any updates.
Finally, it is know that there is a bug, under Yosemite, in the TeX Distribution Preference Pane in System Preferences that prevents it from running. The author knows about it and is working on a fix. Please go to <http://www.tug.org/mactex/> and click on the link (about 7 lines down) for more information about MacTeX & Yosemite.
