Folks,

Sorry, the original Pref Pane doesn’t work. For solutions, read my
“Yosemite Page” in previous messages.

Detailed Explanation:

When Mavericks came out, the Pref Pane failed. It showed up in System
Preferences and ran, but it couldn’t switch distributions.

Later, a fixed version of this Pane was released which worked on Mavericks.

When beta copies of Yosemite were released, this fixed version on Mavericks
did not even run on Yosemite. Instead an error dialog appeared when it was selected.

I installed the release version of Yosemite by updating a copy of Mountain Lion.
Thus I had the old pre-Mavericks Pref Pane. It does appear on Yosemite,
but it cannot switch distribution.
