Howdy,

One more point... Have you tried to use Excalibur?

Unfortunately it doesn't understand anything but ASCII so using extension characters (e.g., accented characters like ò, é or ü) in any other encoding (Latin 1, Latin 9, Mac OS Roman, UTF-8 Unicode) confuses it. 

It sure would be nice if it would be updated to support those encodings.
