It's worth mentioning Melissa O'Neill's PDF to Keynote.app, which automates the conversion to Keynote, centering and scaling as necessary to fit the specified frame shape in addition to other options. The app is available from

I wrote a small applescript macro for TeXShop's Macros menu that runs the app on the pdf file of the front document. It is available from
