Hi,
I am attaching to this a small pdf file produced
by pdflatex from this source
----start
\documentclass{article}
\usepackage{tikz}
\begin{document}
\begin{tikzpicture}
\node [text opacity=0.5] (a) {some text in a TikZ node with opacity};
\end{tikzpicture}
(the above with text opacity=0.5)
\textcolor{blue}{SOME TEXT WITH COLOR}
\clearpage
\textcolor{blue}{SOME TEXT WITH COLOR}
\end{document}
----end of source
When I open it on my mac os x Mavericks in Adobe Reader
10.1.16, the first SOME TEXT WITH COLOR is rendered
in a kind of violet, but the one on page 2 is with the
expected blue.
(see https://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/405029/usage-of-tikz-fill-opacity-impacts-pdf-color-rendering-pdf-viewer-dependent)
I can't reproduce this using either Skim.app, or
Preview.app, and got reports that Acrobat on Windows is fine,
as Okular on Linux.
I am curious whether my issue is reproduced on more recent
macoses.
I have an issue trying with TeXShop, but will report
in another thread.
Best,
Jean-François
