[OS X TeX] how imitate TeXShop's pdflatexmk from command line

Sorry for typo…the _first_ of the 3 makeindex commands I’m using is:

makeindex main.nlo -s main.ist -o main.nls

using (I forgot to include the “.nlo” extension in my message below).
