[OS X TeX] how use TeX Live Utility to update fonts without updating any packages

With MacTeX 2019 I just had to make a change to my ~/Library/texmf/web2c/updmap.cfg. (Specifically, I changed “LW35 ADOBE” to “LW35 URWkb”.)

How do I update my fonts that TeX knows about — inccluding the local ones in ~/Library/texmf  — when there are no TeX packages to update?
