[OS X TeX] Spell checking

Although I use BBEdit for my TeX text editor, I switch to Aquamacs in order to do LaTeX aware spell checking, first positioning the cursor at \begin{document}. I’m not sure what Aquamacs uses for spell checking underneath the interface.
