Note: the xelatex fix assumes you have TeX Live 2021 or, if you have a fully updated TeX Live 2020 that does NOT have a /usr/local/texlive/2020/texmf-config/dvipdfmx/dvipdfmx.cfg. If that dvipdfmx.cfg file does exist let me know and I'll let you know what to do.
