[OS X TeX] TeX Live Utility 1.49 fails to update old TeXLive 2019 and leaves it unusable.

Ah, here we go: I may have missed this in your first log. It looks like tlmgr can't find its binaries, and is confused about the platform it's on. Is this an M1 Mac? 

I think TL 2019 was frozen before Big Sur came along with different versioning and hardware. Maybe I should just keep TLU from updating a Big Sur and/or ARM Mac with TL 2019 or earlier.
