[OS X TeX] [OT] A little Pascal

I apologise for the off-topic posting, but I need some help.

Recently I have started studying mathematics and we are required to learn imperative programming using Pascal.

Could somebody point me to a MacOs-friendly forum, mailing list, site or whatever, where I can get good advice about what to install, how to configure, first steps, etc.? (for absolute beginners).
