Folks, TeXShop 4.64 is available via the Sparkle update mechanism and from https://pages.uoregon.edu/koch/texshop/texshop.html The pdflatexmk in the previous version of TeXShop paused for long intervals during typesetting of certain large book length manuscripts. This is fixed with a new pdflatexmk. Richard Koch
