[OS X TeX] OT: Big Sur 11.6 & Printer Queue

I have seen several reports about this.
I only rarely print anything, and as it happens I only tried to once since 11.6, and by then I expected to see that behavior, but... DIDN'T. 
The printer application quit once the print job was finished. 
I don't have a reason either way, but just a data point to show that it does not happen to everyone, or not all the time (there is at least one counter example :-))
