[OS X TeX] TeXShop and biblatex

Thanks, Herb.

LaTeX is producing the error. My initial LaTeX run fails.

I’m using TeX Live 2022 with TeXShop 5.03 on an M1 MacBook Pro running MacOS 11.7 (Big Sur).

TeX distribution is up to date. Log file is empty since the initial run fails. I included a screen shot of the error message that shows in the console. The complete contents of the console on a failed run are:

I’ve tried searching up that error message, without success. Ulrich’s successful run of the file makes me think I’m missing something simple. I just can’t seem to figure out what it is!

Howdy,

What is producing that error message? Is it LaTeX itself or biber or ... ?

What version of TeX Live and macOS are you using? Is you TeX distribution up to date? What does the log file and the Console output look like?
