[OS X TeX] TeXShop 5.12

I don’t know how to run Manual.tex (from the TeXShop sources) through the tex4ht engine, since it uses xelatex in order to include a number of Unicode characters in names along with \guilsinglleft and \guilsinglright.

Also, does the tex4ht engine automatically do a latexmk on the source, in order to handle cross-references?
