[OS X TeX] Color highlighting box

Ok, there is a small bug with 5.10 under 10.13 which I worked around but which I thought might be of microscopic interest in view of 4. and 5. below:

1. I have a macro, DEX that does \DEX[#SEL##INS#]{#SEL#}

2. DEX works fine from the Macros menu.

3. DEX used to work with the command
t, Command, Option, Control
but now, instead of working like from the Macros menu, works like
Command t
that is lets TeXShop compile!!!!

4. The macro menu shows the macro DEX but, understandably, does not show any more the command t, Command Ke, Modifiers: Option and Control

5. However, the Open Macro Editor does show DEX with the command t, Command Ke, Modifiers: Option and Control which, in view of 4. above, I thought a bit weird.

6. The workaround is of course to use a letter other than t:
r, Command, Option, Control
and now the Macro menu is ok too.

Best
