[OS X TeX] Texshop making phone calls on my Mac!!!!

Has anyone else seen Texshop trying to make phone calls? (I don’t think it has anything to do with texshop, though).

I am using pdflatex with the listings package. I have a new lstnewenvironment. When I click/highlight some listings in Texshop, my mac wants to make a phone call. In preview it has the popup “tel:” followed by some numbers and % signs. 

I cannot see the pattern of when it happens or not; lstnewenvironment seems to be the only thing in common. Some examples are page 38, 62  of https://artint.info/AIPython/aipython/aipython.pdf

(It is more of a curiosity than a problem.
