The comments below are for TeXShop but probably apply to all TeX front ends. Apple Intelligence needs to be turned on in System Settings before it is available. If TeXShop is running when you activate Apple Intelligence, you need to quit TeXShop and run it again before you see Writing Tools in the Edit menu. I assume I'll be notified once it's turned on for my systems. Under what menu will the Writing Tools appear? Got a message from Apple that Apple Intelligence was enabled and I just needed to configure it. After that I started up TeXShop and there was a Writing Tools item under the Edit menu. Now to play! This means that many will not have to worry about it on their favorite machines.
