[OS X TeX] MacOSX-TeX Mac Sequoia (15.6.1) Positioned cursor invisibility

Hi
Migration from Monterey (2013) Mac Pro to Sequoia (Mac Mini 4 Pro), even
after careful experimenting with TeXShop 5.54 settings—Themes, Misc2 and
Misc1, one serious problem remains.

On Monterey a set cursor position blinks ok.
With Sequoia, as it's moving, the cursor is quite visible.
When clicking the cursor into any location, its actual position is
virtually invisible and only becomes evdident on typing.
This problem occurs with both appearances Light and (preferred) Dark.

Misc1 Insertion Cursor Use/Color settings seem to have no effect.
Maybe this is a Sequoia problem.

 Any advice would be much appreciated.
