Howdy,

Announcing MacTeX for 2025 has just been released and will be available from the MacTeX web site, <https://www.tug.org/mactex/>.

HOWEVER, it may take several days for MacTeX 2025 to get distributed to all/most of the CTAN repositories so the mirror site chosen for the download amy still have MacTeX 2024 and you will have wasted the download time and be disappointed. I SUGGEST YOU WAIT A FEW DAYS BEFORE DOWNLOADING.

PS: the repositories seem to be getting hit hard so downloads may be slow until things settle down.
