[OS X TeX] Problem printing from TeXShop in Tahoe?

Hi, Herb
Thank you so much for your answer!
I hardly ever print anything nowadays.
I had to print a document this morning, that I had just typeset in TexShop.
I got an error with just the TeXShop icon, and "Error in printing".
The same document printed fine from Preview, on the same mac and printer.
I am using TeXShop 5.57 on an M4 Pro Macbook Pro 14",
running Tahoe 26.0
The printer is a network printer at my University, one that I have routinely used.
I did not think much about it, until a colleague asked for my help with the exact same problem, on an iMac (not sure if an M1 or M3), also running Tahoe, and he also could print from Preview.
I went back to my office and tried the same on an M1 Max Mac Studio, running 26.0.1. TeXShop version was 5.49 (I think), and the same occurred.
I updated to TeXShop 5.57 and again, same problem.
But THEN a weird thing happened... I notice an older TeXShop version 4.*, and tried that. Guess what... it printed!
But weirder still: then I tried again on TeXShop 5.57 and it TOO printed!
It seems that running the older version of TeXShop "unblocked" something...
I did not have a chance to test on my laptop, will have to try that tomorrow, as I did not have it with me at the time and now I don't have a printer for testing.
Thank you again
