From Zbigniew.Nitecki at tufts.edu Tue Jun 9 16:16:06 2026 From: Zbigniew.Nitecki at tufts.edu (Nitecki, Zbigniew H.) Date: Tue, 9 Jun 2026 20:16:06 +0000 Subject: [OS X TeX] Latex Panel Message-ID: I was working on a project using the TeXShop editor when all of a sudden the Latex Panel disappeared, and when I went to look for it, the place it used to sit in had an entry ?Close Latex Panel? which was grayed out. I am using TeXShop version 5.47 running on Ventura 13.7.8. Of course it is possible to work without the Latex Panel, but I have gotten used to the convenience, and this behavior makes me worry that worse is yet to come. Is it possible to restore the Latex Panel, and if so, how (given that my confidence in messing around in hidden libraries etc is weak)? After writing my previous email with this subject line, I returned to TeXShop intending to learn to live without the Latex Panel, when as suddenly as it had left, my Latex Panel returned. Mine not to question why? Zbigniew Nitecki Professor Emeritus Department of Mathematics Tufts University Medford, MA 02155 telephones: Dept.
